San Blas Island Hopping Weeks:
Jan. 11 – 17 or Jan. 18 – 24
$1950 per person
San Blas to Isla Providencia
Jan. 29 – February 12 Island hopping and offshore sailing
$2400 per person
This trip encompasses a variety of different experiences, including some ocean voyaging and exploring new ports. You will be standing watch and participating as part of the crew. When we depart the San Blas Islands we will have an overnight sail to Portobelo Panama. We will stay in Portobelo for 3 days exploring the 3 sets of ruins that were once guarding the deep water harbor.
Then we have a 3 day offshore passage to Isla Providencia, 150 miles off the coast of Nicaragua. This English speaking island is owned by Colombia. The Island is a beautiful unspoiled destination with great snorkeling and friendly people. It has the 3rd largest barrier reef and is a UNESCO Bioshere Reserve. The infamous pirate Henry Morgan used Providencia as a base for raiding the Spanish empire, and rumors suggest that much of his treasure remains hidden on the island. Many parts of the island are named after Morgan. Forts and cannons dating back hundreds of years can be found scattered all over Santa Catalina Island.

Isla Providencia Dive Week
Spend a week aboard Alliance at Isla Providencia and dive every day with the local dive masters. The diving here is amazing with lots of sharks and stingrays. Plus there are some great hikes to the mountain peaks. A trip to Providencia wouldn’t be complete without an evening at the infamous Rolands reggae beach bar, and a mixed lunch platter at El Divino Nino beach restaurant.
The diving will be with the local dive company.
They will pick you up at the ship every day and take you to the dive sites.
February 14 – 20
$1850 (not including the dive fees)
Dive week in Guanaja Honduras
Isla Guanaja is one of the 3 Bay Islands located ~30 miles off the coast of Honduras. The other 2 are Roatan and Utila. Guanaja is the least visited of the 3 Bay Islands. The island’s warm, clear waters support an extensive coral reef that is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and second only to the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia. This reef system extends along the coast of four countries: Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras. It begins near the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula and continues south down the eastern coast of Belize extending past the north-east corner of Guatemala and ends near the Bay Islands of Honduras.
The diving here is spectacular! You will be picked up at the ship every morning by the local dive master. They will take you to their favorite dive sites for 2 dives per day.
March 8 – March 14
$1850 per person ( not including the dive fees)
Guanaja Honduras to Key West Florida
March 15 – March 20
We will depart Isla Guanaja March 15 for the 5 day offshore voyage to Key West Florida.
Key West Florida to the Chesapeake Bay
March 22 – 28 Offshore Cruising/Fishing
We will depart March 22 for the 6 day offshore passage to the Chesapeake Bay. We will be in the Gulf Stream “sleigh ride” up the coast for much of this passage north. We are likely to catch a bunch of tuna, mahi, wahoo and maybe even a marlin!
